Early 20th century OS maps.

The location of a town, church, chapel, or farm, using the Ordnance Survey National Grid reference, can be identified from the map. Click on a map grid to enlarge in a separate browser window. These linked maps were scanned from an early 20th century 1" OS outline edition, with the National Grid references (kilometre squares) superimposed, and a CD will be available from the Society with these displayed at twice size. As roads and physical features have changed, since the maps were produced, use the OS National Grid reference to identify the exact location of existing buildings on the current series of UK Ordnance Survey landranger maps.
