Carmarthen School of Art 1854-1870, 1880-1971

Founded 1854 in Parade Road and closed in 1871. Re-opened 1880 and moved to a new location in Church Lane in 1892. In early 1950's the school was taken over by Carmarthenshire Co. Co. and moved to College Road. In 1971 it was combined with Llanelly to form the Dyfed College of Art, and in 1979 it moved to to a new building in Job's Well Road.
