Strays database

When researching family details outside the counties of Dyfed, Society members frequently encounter references to people born within Dyfed who subsequently moved to other parts of Wales, or beyond. These are often found in Census records, but also parish registers, quarter sessions records, newspapers and many other places.

The database can be searched online, but only by Society members, who can also submit additional records through this website.

The database currently holds details of 7934 strays.
